North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem announced that he has issued a cease and desist order against Bakken Exploration, LLC , and its principals, Larry Gilmore and Heather Anne Rodewalt, for alleged violations of North Dakota consumer fraud law and failure to respond to a Civil Investigative Demand. According to Stenehjem, Bakken Exploration should not be confused with a different company, “Bakken Oil LLC” in Sidney, Montana, which is not the subject of any complaints with the Attorney General’s Office.
